What is personal data?
When you come into contact with Connected Skills AB, you may provide information about yourself. What data does Connected Skills AB process about you and why?
Connected Skills AB works to connect workers and employers. To achieve the purpose of our service, we will process personal data about you. The data may be provided by you personally or obtained from a third party, such as another company in the group, or from your employer. When we store data about you on the legal basis of balancing of interests, the storage period refers to 1 year from the period of time that runs from your last purchase of service from Connected Skills AB, or from the period of time you have concluded an agreement with Connected Skills AB.
How does Connected Skills AB process personal data about you or your company?
Connected Skills AB will request information about you that is necessary for you to be able to enter into a contractual relationship with us and for us to be able to carry out the assignment we have contracted for in a good way. We may also process personal data about you in order to fulfill other legal obligations we have, for example in relation to the requirements of the Accounting Act, and on the basis of consent or a balance of interests; such data that is needed for you to be able to make any complaints against us, or for us to be able to provide you with feedback on news regarding our services and our range of services, for example.
Connected Skills AB shall ensure that the processing of personal data is legal according to applicable data protection rules, but you as a customer are responsible for ensuring that you only provide Connected Skills AB with such personal data that is necessary for the purpose of the processing. If part of the service you order from Connected Skills AB entails that you transfer personal data to us about another person, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to transfer the personal data and the task of processing the personal data to Connected Skills AB.
If you instruct Connected Skills AB to process personal data that is of a sensitive nature as referred to in Article 9 or 10 GDPR, you are obliged to carefully examine the security measures that need to be taken in order for the processing of such personal data to be lawful, and you should consult with Connected Skills AB before instructing us to process such personal data to ensure that the security measures taken by Connected Skills AB are adequate.
Connected Skills AB is part of a group. Some companies within the group share personal data with each other in the context of group-wide cooperation. Connected Skills AB administers and manages the common database and is the data controller for the group-wide personal data processing together with any other companies in the group where you are a customer or whose services you use. All processing of personal data within the framework of the group’s common database is carried out in accordance with Connected Skills AB’s data protection policy.
Your personal data will not be sold to third parties unless you have consented to this.
Assistants, subcontractors and authorities and place of storage
Connected Skills AB will share personal data about you with parties, such as clients, employers or other stakeholders in the service for the performance of our contractual obligations to you. Financial information – standard credit checks for the purpose of assessing creditworthiness before entering into a contract and during the course of a contract. The data is stored for the duration of the contract.
Service and delivery information – details of the services you subscribe to or purchase, e.g. ongoing consultancy services, assignments, projects or training courses and newsletters you read. The data is stored after a balance of interests, during the contract period and 1 year after the last purchased service/completed contract with Connected Skills AB for marketing purposes.
Historical information – payment history. The data is stored after a balance of interests, for the duration of the contract.
You have the right to request, free of charge, once a year, an extract from the register.
You have the right to have your personal data rectified if it is inaccurate, incomplete or misleading, and you and/or your employees have the right to restrict the processing of personal data until it is rectified.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
You have the right to object to direct marketing.
You have the right to be forgotten, but the deletion of personal data cannot take place if it is required to fulfill the contract or if other Swedish or European law, court or authority decision states otherwise, and if the storage is based on legitimate interest. Should you consider that there are no legitimate grounds, or that the legitimate interest is incorrect, you have the right to object to the processing.
